Greetings.
I am Rob Vacanti, A.K.A. Roberre The Dancing Bear. I don't really dance nor am I real sharp at web design. I'm a comic musician, and truthfully, rather than try to create the standard generic web site that everyone has with mindless mission statements, bells, and whistles, we'll just pretend that ours is the best.
My goal here is to display the Audience Fun. This web site and our performances are about you folks having fun. No one with a life need spend hours viewing someones web site anyway.
Next time we do a corporate event where I can have a friend travel along and if the event people are fine with it, we'll record more videos. ( ya, right . . . ) See what I mean about us? Also coming are live song samples as soon as i get around to it.
I am not in the videos since I was the person doing the recording. The photos came from many different events. Lately we seldom perform in bars, pubs, saloons and such as Corporate Events, Weddings, and Fairs are our playground and destiny.
The best way to hear us is to request a CD of us at one of our performances.
Here's the important stuff:
* We are 100% clean for all ages.
Think Foxworthy vs Kinnison. Foxworthy is king (and still alive.)
* We have performed together for almost 6 years now and never use fill in partners, which is common with many traveling dueling piano "teams". I boast this. It really matters. . .
* We are just plain fun silly people who do not share the same performance skills or personality traits, which means there is a ton of variety and unique tools at our disposal.
Modern society seems to lean towards eliminating individuality. We specialize in featuring it and this evident contrast between Johnny and myself is a huge entertainment plus. We drag along tons of props and skit toys for us all to have fun with. The stage area looks like a toy store . . .
* Making your event fun and memorable is easy, pleasurable, and natural for us.
* I will haughtily boast of my live sound experience and sound system. What's the problem every time you hear live music? It's too loud and or too abrasive or muffled. The listener misery is consistent every time however.
Not with us. Without going into too much tech talk, we don't use karaoke equipment like JBL, EV, Peavey, Behringer, so on, we use a concert Horn Loaded Line Array system that is custom built by professional cabinet makers, and have the wisdom to run it. Volts influence sound pressure levels more than watts and with system efficiency like ours, one circuit can supply enough oomph to hit high decibel levels often needed for an outside festival.
No abusive performances here. If it's a totally clean yet funny and exciting show you want, we are it.
